HOW IT WORKS

Rotating paddles act on water in the outer chamber to provide the necessary resistance to the athlete's effort, and dissipate energy.
Level 1
Most water in inner (passive) chamber
Minimum Resistance

The inner chamber purely provides passive storage of water.
The position of the indicator determines the relative levels between the two chambers.
The complete system holds 8 litres of water.
Level 8
Water levels even between chambers
Medium Resistance
System 16 , used on Fluid Rowers S-350 and S-250, is shown here.
System 20 , used on Fluid Rower S-500, UBE and Cycle XT, offers 20 levels of resistance.
Level 16
Most water in outer (active) chamber
Maximum Resistance
ONE TANK - TWO CHAMBERS
The patented Fluid Technology variable resistance system makes ingenious use of a twin-chamber
